the ler formed , owned underground electric railways company of london (uerl) in 1910 combine management of 3 of company s subsidiary deep-level tube railway companies: baker street , waterloo railway (bs&wr), charing cross, euston , hampstead railway (cce&hr) , great northern, piccadilly , brompton railway (gnp&br) had opened in 1906 , 1907. merger carried out in accordance london electric railway amalgamation act, 1910 transferring assets of cce&hr , bs&wr gnp&br , renaming gnp&br london electric railway.


although ler management combined, 3 lines continued identified separately operational purposes bakerloo tube, hampstead tube , piccadilly tube.


when uerl , other transport operators in london area merged form london passenger transport board on 1 july 1933, ler liquidated.


the ler s routes form central sections of bakerloo line, northern line , piccadilly line.
