History Korla
tarim basin in 3rd century
the 3rd century weilüe records korla, hoxud , shanwang (shanguo) dependencies of karashahr. in may, 1877 yakub beg, muslim ruler of kashgaria, died here, prompting reconquest of kashgaria qing dynasty.
