iraklis s crest has changed through times. original club logo capital Η (eta), first letter of word iraklis (Ηρακλής) in greek, surrounded circle. after 2000 takeover of club evangelos mytilinaios, logo changed once again more modern looking one. during 2008–2009 season club used special logo, created centenary. crest used depicts demigod heracles resting upon club, scene inspired farnese hercules statue, copy of statue crafted lysippos in fourth century bc.


throughout entire club s history colours blue or cyan , white, resemble colours of greek flag, given fact iraklis established while thessaloniki part of ottoman empire. team known in greece kianolefkoi (greek: Κυανόλευκοι ), meaning cyan-whites. iraklis away colours either white or orange. traditionally, iraklis shirt blue , white stripes, through years changed blue, white, chess-like, , hooped, among others.
