the album s release on november 6, 2012 marks 6 years since band s last release of original material, 2 tracks devil s got new disguise , sedona sunrise , released part of band s compilation album devil s got new disguise in october 2006. in addition, marked 8 years since band s last studio album, blues cover album honkin on bobo (which included lone original song grind ), released in march 2004, , eleven years since band s last all-original studio album, push play, released in march 2001.

2006 sessions

on may 30, aerosmith , cheap trick performed walmart shareholders , began global warming tour on june 16 in minneapolis, took band 25 locations across north america through august 12. during tour, aerosmith performed new material album, including single legendary child , album track oh yeah . in addition, beautiful played on pa system before aerosmith s show @ hollywood bowl on august 6.
