early career
benjaminsen started skating in 2004 @ oslo skøiteklub. benjaminsen won norwegian novice ladies title during 2012–13 season. following season, competed on junior level, placing 10th @ 2014 nordic championships.
2014–2015 season
benjaminsen made isu junior grand prix (jgp) debut in 2014–15 season, placing 19th in courchevel , 23rd in tallinn. placed 5th in junior ladies @ tallinn trophy, took junior bronze medal @ 2015 nordic championships, , finished 13th @ 2015 european youth olympic festival (eyof). @ 2015 world junior championships in tallinn, scored personal best in short program , advanced final, finishing 22nd overall. first norwegian in 16 years qualify ladies free skate @ world junior championships.
2015–2016 season
during summer 2015 trained in oberstdorf, germany , richmond, virginia, united states. benjaminsen began season on jgp series, placing 16th in latvia , 14th in spain. in riga, latvia, became first norwegian woman have landed triple-triple combination in competition. making senior international debut, finished 12th @ isu challenger series (cs) event in november, 2015 tallinn trophy. won silver medal @ 2016 norwegian junior championships, , placed 6th @ 2016 nordics after winning short program. @ 2016 junior worlds advanced final placing 20th in short program, , finished 22nd overall.
2016–2017 season
benjaminsen competed in slovenia , germany in jgp season. competed in senior category first time @ 2017 norwegian championships, taking silver behind jemima rasmuss. competed @ 2017 junior worlds, did not advance free skate. announced retirement competitive skating on 10th of may 2017.
