in 2014, department began using 2 eurocopter as350b3 helicopters. helicopters stationed @ department s helipad @ downtown airpark. helicopters equipped forward looking infrared cameras , searchlights. when in flight, helicopters use faa callsign air-one or air-two communicate oklahoma city air traffic control. prior 2014, ocpd operated pair of md 500e helicopters air-support assets.
