he goes on relationship abruptly ended after overheard him , friends making jokes height. following morning, 2 discover dismay short walk away petrol station , travelodge. things worse when mick bustin tries charge them £500 retrieve campervan, causing pair break bustin s workshop and, in parody of a-team, modify van , bust out on road, van break down again miles later, mick bustin having never made repairs.

the pair go down london, , have run-in traffic police. later, max spots in local newspaper 40th birthday message old school friend kevin wolfster wolfson, had moved london years before. max , paddy turn unannounced @ birthday party , surprise wolfster , several other old faces home present party. things turn sad though when tina (played lisa hammond), max s 1 true love mentioned in previous episode, turns up. max awkwardly talks her, , things worse when realises married to, , has child with, wolfster.

however, child, 10-year-old boy called daniel, max s son. tina warns max stay away , not blow secret, following morning ropes paddy in , pair steal think school bus young daniel aboard. ve got wrong bus however, , accosted police , sent directly prison. actor/comedian reece shearsmith turns in episode 1 of max s old friends. row row row boat sequence on bus borrowed dirty harry, , in scene wolfster writes telephone number on beermat , hands max, peter kay beermat, tying in kay s tv adverts john smith s bitter.

in countryside, paddy driving van when accidentally knocks on , kills cow walking in road. tracing cow nearby farm, pair go off find farmer , claim expenses damage van. come across assume him: odd, scruffy old man in field, instead of giving them compensation money sells them breeder pig £100. claims can sell on @ market around £300. when max , paddy reach cattle market, discover pig has seen better days , ve been conned. after several unsuccessful attempts sell pig on butchers shops, supermarket, , halal outlet, max , paddy decide kill rid of burden. have change of heart though , head farm reclaim £100. discover old man sold them pig drunken father-in-law of real farmer, , money has gone nearest pub. farmer isn t happy 2 killing 1 of cows... guest starring graham walker of grumbleweeds.
